Cookies & storage
What this site keeps on your device, who else your browser talks to, and why.
The short version
Cryptarium sets two analytics cookies (Google Analytics), only if you accept them, and keeps a few settings in your browser. No accounts, no advertising, nothing sold.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 tells us how many people visit and which pages they read. Nothing loads until you accept in the cookie banner. Then it sets two first-party cookies:
_ga tells visitors apart. Kept for 2 years.
_ga_M78F65F0D0 keeps the state of your visit. Kept for 2 years.
Google receives your browser and device details and an approximate location; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google may process this data outside your country, under its privacy policy. To change your mind, use the button at the bottom of this page; declining deletes these cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on.
Settings in local storage
These are not cookies and are never sent to us. They stay until you clear this site's data.
cryptarium:consent remembers your cookie choice.
cryptarium:audio:ambient remembers whether the ambient sound is on.
cryptarium:dominions:… and cryptarium:dominion-days:… keep a copy of each world's recent sweeps, so the War Map draws faster.
Session storage
Cleared when you close the tab.
cryptarium:lastPrice:… holds the last price seen, so the War Map draws faster.
cryptarium:terminal:world remembers the world you picked on the Terminal.
Who your browser talks to
Bybit (api.bybit.com, stream.bybit.com): live prices and trades load straight from Bybit's public market data. Like any server you connect to, Bybit sees your IP address.
Google (googletagmanager.com): the analytics script above.
Our API (api.cryptarium.io): the recorded history of the war. It sets no cookies and builds no visitor profiles.
Fonts and images are served from cryptarium.io itself.
Advertising
None. No advertising cookies, no fingerprinting, and we do not sell or share your data.
